Cambodia will scrap tariffs on US goods and pledged to buy as many as 20 Boeing Co. 737 Max jets in a bid to narrow its trade gap with Washington, according to Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol.

The U.S. has reached trade agreements with Thailand and Cambodia, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said. President Trump has set an Aug. 1 deadline for countries to reach deals before he imposes higher tariffs.

Senior officials from both countries said they were still waiting to hear final details on the deals after comments by the U.S. commerce secretary, Howard Lutnick.
