The Chicago Blackhawks are receiving trade calls on a former first-round pick and a young forward in Lukas Reichel.

A trade pitch from Heavy.con has the Chicago Blackhawks acquiring Patrik Laine from the Montreal Canadines in 1-for-1 swap.

The Blackhawks are continuing to rebuild to return to their glory years. They won the Stanley Cup in 2010, 2013 and 2015, with center Jonathan Toews and forward Patrick Kane as the centerpieces of the franchise.

If he can take the next step for the Chicago Blackhawks, he could be one of the dark horse candidates to enter the Vezina Trophy conversation in 2025.
