Costco is alerting its customers to double-check their recent purchases as the retail giant announces a series of product recalls, some of which pose serious safety risks.

Johnson Health Tech Trading and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall via a letter sent to customers and posted to Costco’s website. The BowFlex 552 adjustable dumbbells were recalled after people reported that the weight plates dislodged from the handle during use, “posing an impact hazard,” the recall said.
