Spike Lee and Denzel Washington have become a dynamic duo over the years, teaming up on four films. Well, five films now, thanks to "Highest 2 Lowest." The movie centers on Washington, who stars as a music mogul that is targeted by a ransom plot.

The strangest development saga of any movie this summer includes A-list writers and directors (Mamet, Scorsese) coming and going, and studios spending millions trying to hone the right script. Then, a young producer and first-time screenwriter cracked the code and got Denzel Washington's attention.

Right now, the only place to watch Highest 2 Lowest is in a movie theater, when the film opens in select U.S. theaters on August 15. You can find a showing near you via Fandango.
