Hemsworth has been one of the MCU's most prolific veterans, first appearing in 2011's Thor and forming a core part of The Avengers across multiple movies. He's even become the first of Earth's Mightiest Heroes to star in four standalone entries thanks to 2022's Thor: Love and Thunder.

Hemsworth and his castmates are currently filming Doomsday, but the actor took a brief break to post a video to his YouTube channel that looks back on the legacy of Thor and thanks fans for following him on his journey.

The good news about Thor potentially dying in Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars is that no one in the Marvel universe can stay dead forever. We could always see Chris Hemsworth's Thor return in the future through some weird resurrection twist, so if he's willing to do more movies, Thor can always live on.
