Seattle Mariners superstar Cal Raleigh inches closer to making MLB history after hitting a monster home run on Friday.

Cal Raleigh is the first player in baseball to get to 100 RBIs and did it with 39 games for left for the Seattle Mariners in their 11-9 win over the Mets Friday.

For the third time in less than a month, the Philadelphia Phillies were on the positive end of a catcher’s interference call.

The Mariners have had two losses Monday and Tuesday against the Philadelphia Phillies, with a five-run loss Monday and being beaten by two Tuesday afternoon.

Cal Raleigh hit his 47th HR as the Mariners fell 7-3 to the Mets, closing in on Salvador Perez's single-season catcher record.

It was also another record-setting night for Seattle catcher Cal Raleigh. In the top of the third inning, Raleigh hit a two-run homer to left field. It was his major league-leading 46th homer of the season, which gave him sole possession of the second-most single-season homers by a catcher in MLB history, passing Hall of Famer Johnny Bench.

Cal Raleigh and the Mariners took on the Mets in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on Sunday. Raleigh made special gear for the occasion.
