SAN DIEGO — The San Diego Gulls beat the San Jose Barracuda 3-2 Saturday night. Andrew Agozzino scored the game-winning goal in overtime, extending his goal streak to four games.
Barracuda had been among the possible team names for the NFL Sharks when the team cam to San Jose in 1991. Barracuda was on the team’s short list this time around, too, he said.
