Panic broke out at two locations during the celebrations, resulting in a stampede that claimed the lives of 11 people and left many others injured.

Rainfall was also reported in Landi Kotal, Darra Adam Khel and Kohat, while in Jamrud, a heavy downpour following intense heat daoubled the joy of Eid celebrations.

They acknowledged missing their families, but emphasised that serving the nation has remained their foremost priority.
