This little cutie named Jin Tong is a golden takin (Budorcas taxicolor) also known as a gnu goat. Despite the name and their appearance, they’re not goats but instead more closely related to sheep. Jin Tong joined the herd at San Diego Zoo after he was born on March 21, 2022, to mom Bona. In the wild, gnu are found at high elevations in the Himalayas.
