Simo Häyhä after being awarded with the honorary Mosin-Nagant rifle model 28, February 1, 1940. Häyhä was a Finnish sniper in the Winter War (1939–1940). In just 100 days, he achieved over 500 confirmed, mostly using a simple iron-sighted Mosin–Nagant rifle.
