Six years ago, I had the wonderful opportunity to perform my song “Throw Me a Party” on the Today Show. I wrote this with Liz Rose and Kristian Bush. It’s personal to me because after having had breast cancer and reflecting on the “what if’s” if I didn’t make it, I knew that if I didn’t make it through I’d want the people I love to celebrate a life where each day was spent in gratitude.
