Long Toss vs Slam Toss comparison. In 31 years of practice, I still have yet to see the purpose of throwing a 300 foot parabola releasing the ball behind me uphill like the video shows. I’m not sure how that builds arm strength since the arm is eccentric after the caulking phase. If you don’t know what that means, you should look that up. Long toss colt members will say that it builds strength of course I’ve tested people before and immediately after five throws and their Arm Strength drops cons

What you guys thinking? Long Toss really good or just eh? It’s definitely not bad but is there better, more effective ways to train “arm strength” I think there’s a means to an end that gets overlooked for some reason when it comes to long tossing. Eventually, I feel like you’re just gonna get good at long tossing and it’s going to stop translating to any throwing motion in the game. But.. What do I know.
