Eddy Arnold’s older brother, PFC John H Arnold, of the 82nd Airborne Division, United States Army, died on June 7, 1944 during the “D-Day Invasion” of Normandy. John, sadly,never got to hear his brother’s recordings but Eddy’s great granddaughter, Rowan Pollard, had an idea upon locating her great-great Uncle John’s burial site this past Sunday.
