🏀On June 7, 1993 rising NBA star Drazen Petrovic died in a car accident at the age of 28. In his 5th and final season in the NBA (1992-93), Petrovic averaged 22.3 points per game while shooting 51.8% from the field, 44.9% from beyond the arc and 87% from the free throw line. Drazen’s #3 was retired by the New Jersey Nets in 1993, and in 2002, he was enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame. In 2013, he was voted the best European Basketball player in history by players at the FIBA EuroBasket.🏀
