Firefighters arrived in just five minutes to a house fire on Venus Drive in Buena Park this afternoon. Despite heavy fire in the garage that had already extended into the home and was starting to burn an adjacent garage, crews knocked down the bulk of the fire in just eight minutes. OCFA Heavy Fire Equipment Operators removed a still-burning vehicle that firefighters couldn’t safely access, allowing crews to fully extinguish hot spots. No injuries reported.
