The Haunted House was Mickey’s first spooky adventure. When Mickey gets caught in the rain, he takes refuge in a haunted house and is forced to play piano for the ghosts and skeletons inside. The short borrows animation from The Skeleton Dance and feels like a precursor to 1933’s The Mad Doctor, echoing the same horror elements and borrowing a few gags. | Disney History Channel
